Inspection Checklists

Florida Building Code Compliance Guide

GRIP Solutions Inc. provides inspection services in accordance with the Florida Building Code and applicable local amendments.

The following inspection checklists are designed to assist contractors, builders, and property owners in preparing for required inspections.

These checklists provide general guidance and do not replace a full review of applicable codes or project-specific requirements.

Important Code Information

  • Florida Building Codes are periodically updated. Projects are reviewed and inspected based on the code edition in effect at the time of permit issuance.

Current editions may include:

  • 2023 Florida Building Code (8th Edition)

  • 2020 Florida Building Code

  • 2018 Florida Building Code

  • NEC Electrical Code (as adopted by jurisdiction)

If you are unsure which code cycle applies to your project, contact our team for clarification.
