Private Provider

Effective October 1, 2002, Florida law authorizes fee owners to elect to use private providers to review plans and inspect construction for compliance with the Florida Building Code and Local Amendments. Law allows building departments to check plans reviewed by private providers and to inspect construction concurrent with private inspections, but establishes time constraints for such governmental reviews and inspections. Law also requires notification of building departments, at the time of application, for a permit that private providers will be used and the filing of a sworn affidavit(s) by the private provider's plans reviewer(s) stating plans comply with the Code.

The three attached forms were required to be established by the Florida Building Commission for statewide uniformity. Other forms, required by law, are subject to local discretion and must be obtained from the local authority having jurisdiction. There are a number of requirements of law concerning permit application requirements and notification/reporting to the permitting
jurisdiction as well as requirements for building department response. See section 553.791, Florida Statutes, for requirements.

Since our establishment in 2008, GRIP Solutions Inc. has provided quality engineering services to clients in the INDUSTRY. Our ownership group are working members of our teams, involved in all aspects of a project from conception to schematic to Gnal design and continuing through to the end of the construction.

Our team has been recognized in the INDUSTRY for innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs in an elective and evident manner. Ladi March-Goldwire, an advocate for small business and entrepreneurial initiatives began her career in Construction Project Management in 2000. She has been licensed as a general contractor since 2006. Ladi has served as Principal for BrinMar Construction and Development Group Ltd, a full-service construction firm since its inception in 2008. She also is the owner of The Permit Ladi, a robust permit mitigation firm that serves the South Florida area.

In 2009, Ladi became a self-certification vendor for the Small Business Administration. She began educating and assisting women with obtaining Women-Owned Small Business and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business designations in an effort to increase visibility and contract awards granted to them. Additionally, Ms. March-Goldwire was hands-on in championing those inclusionary practices most beneficial to North Florida's JSEB (Jacksonville Small and Emerging Businesses) and disadvantaged business owners. An advocate where assisting minority and disadvantaged businesses are concerned, Goldwire formulated The Contractor Sub Hub, 501c3.

Ladi has partnered with GRIP Solutions Inc. to provide project management, quality assurance focus, and private provider services to real estate developers and small to mid-construction firms. An industrial hemp enthusiast, Ladi has been active in promoting increased opportunities for women and minorities in cannabis-influenced industries.

Ms. March-Goldwire pursued studies at Florida Atlantic University before shifting her focus to vocational education. Shifting has gifted Ladi with an uber appreciation for trade and vocational education and positioned her for conversation surrounding its resurgence. A graduate of the Florida Atlantic University Leadership Academy as well as Florida Atlantic University's Kathleen Bush Women in Executive Leadership Program, she was sought out and asked to assist in the assembly of the US Hemp Building Association as one of its founding members. Ladi is licensed with the State of Florida as a Building Official and is currently certified with the International Code Council (ICC) as a building code administrator; recognized in all 50 states and its US territories. She is also a member of the Building Official's Association of Florida.

Ladi March-Goldwire, is native to Palm Beach County and is a self-proclaimed social inequity watchdog. She remains vigilant in her pursuit of those business and partnership opportunities which offer favorable and equitable positions for everyone, specifically persons of color.
